MLS returns to action this weekend

After taking a two-week break for the group stage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Major League Soccer returns to action this weekend.

All 16 clubs will look to make the most of their extended time off, as MLS moves towards the midway point of the 2010 season.

FRIDAY, JUNE 25 (Home club listed first)

Real Salt Lake v San Jose Earthquakes

A battle of two Western Conference rivals gets things going in MLS, as Salt Lake host San Jose at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.

SATURDAY, JUNE 26

Columbus Crew v D.C. United

A resurgent D.C. United look to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions at Eastern Conference rivals Columbus Crew in Ohio.

Toronto FC v Los Angeles Galaxy

Preki's TFC are sure to fancy their chances against an under-strength Galaxy side, who are without United States World Cup players Landon Donovan and Edson Buddle.

Kansas City Wizards v New York Red Bulls

The injury-hit Red Bulls face a tricky road trip to the American Midwest to face the Wizards, with New York goalkeeper Chris Sutton making a push for a start.
